I love this time of the year. The days are cool and ideal for spending time in the garden. The roses are starting to look very straggly but I’m resisting the urge to prune just in case we get a few frosts. We usually only get about 5 frosts a year…….and they really aren’t that bad as we are situated up on a hill. The nights have also got chilly so the wood heater has been lit for the first time since last September. We don’t have any other heating at home and usually just pull out a nice flannel lap quilt (no shortage of those) to snuggle under at other times when it’s cold. The flannelette sheets are also back on the bed making it extremely difficult to get out in the mornings to head to the dairy.
With all of the hassles of our computer and internet I forgot to have a pattern of the month for April…..dooh! So I will be back tomorrow with details of May’s Pattern of the Month. Gee I have just got used to writing 4 (April) and now it will be 5!
