About three years I ran a Block of the Month for a Sampler Quilt. The original quilt was made from the 'Peace on Earth' range of fabrics from 3 Sisters
and is still on display in the shop ...... even though it remains as just a quilt top. After many enquiries I have decided to offer it again this year as a Block of the Month but in a new colourway / range ........
'Prairie Paisley II' by Minick & Simpson. I am also using this range in my new hexagon quilt and I just love it.
I have completed all of the 20 blocks but am waiting on the bolt fabric so that I can finish the quilt. It is due in the shop this month so I won't have to wait too long. But until then here are some photos of a few of the blocks.
This Sampler Block of the Month will be run over 10 months which means that every month the package will include the patterns and fabrics to make 2 blocks. The cost will be $20 per month (plus postage if required) and will commence in March 2012. I will upload the full details and photo onto my online shop when I complete the quilt top.
Back tomorrow with the other Block of the Month on offer this year.
Linda :)
PS. Sorry for the fuzzy photos......the blocks look much nicer in real life. They are at the shop if anyone is interested in having a look.
Love it. Can't wait to see the finished top. Jill
