My blogging about my holdiay has finished.....well I guess that you know that the plane made it back to Australia safe and sound even though I think I got less sleep than on the way over there. It was a great holiday for Russell and I........just what we needed.......and it is making us plan for the next one already! But the downside is coming back and trying to catch up on 10 days work.......which includes getting the newsletter and class list out.......soon......I promise. But in the meatime today is a celebration, or more precisely this post is a celebration. It is my 500th post........I can't beleive it........500 times I have sat down and typed 'stuff' hoping that someone out there would find it interesting and not too silly. Sometimes it is a struggle to find something sensible to say and yet other times I have so much to tell it's just nuts! So to celebrate my nuttiness and this milestone I am having a giveaway.........it's not hard........just leave a comment telling me of your favourite post or photo from my blog.......or something about the shop maybe. I am not sure what the prize /s will be but I will put together a nice pack or two!
Good luck and I will leave it open for a couple of days........until Thursday evening.
Linda :)

You know the worst thing about coming home from a holiday -- having to stop at the Supermarket to stock up on food -- and then of course after being away on holiday having to go home and cook it. Glad you enjoyed your trip Linda.

Wow 500 posts, that's great Linda and I have enjoyed all of them, watching Prudence develop was a highlight but have really enjoyed your recent holiday blogs - it has been so nice to have a glimpse of an exotic getaway :)

I've really enjoyed your dill of the day posts....it reminds me of one I saw last Thurs...a local council worker using a blow vac to clear away leaves in the local gardens!

From the bottom of the South Island of New Zealand I have read your blog with great interest. Really enjoyed watching Dear Prudence grow and your recent holiday posts but I also enjoy the little insights you give us about your family and your farming interests and your love of gardening. My partners Parents were on a farm at Simpson a number of years ago and I also had family at Timboon so I love hearing about what is happening in the district. Keep up the great work and congrats on 500 entertaining posts!

Hi Linda, I have so enjoyed reading your posts about your well-deserved holiday, I especially liked your trip on the Eastern Oriental express and you "Dill of the Day" observations. I have been reading your blog for sometime now and really enjoyed your 'Dear Prudence' journey, but I think my most favourite post is the one where you showed us that absolutely beautiful hexagon ring that you purchased. A well-deserved reward I must say. Congratulations on 500 posts. Looking forward to reading the next 500.
