I'm back! It has been a hectic week since the Stitch in Spring. Russell was away for three days which meant that I was once again on cow duty. Although that alone is no excuse for not blogging, add 'our internet download had been slowed due to using it all up' to the equation and it was impossible to do anything except at a very slow snails pace! We have also been away for a couple of days (but I will blog about that tomorrow).
On Sunday I had the lovely ladies from the 'Gunnados' Quilt Group use my classroom for the day. While I provided the lunch, the ladies spent the day stitching, talking, laughing and shopping. Helen gave me these lovely Waratahs off her bush.
They are beautiful!
I was also given this pretty homemade card as a thank you,
along with a little gift of some choccies (which I ate on my trip to Bendigo Sunday afternoon......gave me energy for the 3 hour drive....lol!). Did you notice how the flower on the card looks like a Waratah? Not sure if it was planned or just a coincidence......either way it was very much appreciated ladies.
