I'm back from 4 days in Ballarat attending my first of 3 Craft Alive events this year. It was great 3 days of meeting new and old friends, and showing the crafting visitors just a small sample of what I have in my Shop. I started off with an empty booth on Thursday.
About 4 hours later my display was finished and ready for the Friday trading.
I decided to take one of my sewing machines with me on this solo trip, so I packed the Brother (a bit lighter than my Bernina) and a few strips of the new 'Circus' fabric from Tilda. I also threw in a few notions but of course I forgot a few things.
I ended up starting 5 (yes five) new projects, so I am hoping to finish these off this week.......at least I have made a good start.....a new table runner, a table centre, a purse, a bag and a small storage cube. I will reveal them as I finish them.....unless they don't turn out and then they will be in the bin!
I have decided to re-book and return to Ballarat next year. Next time I will take my extra sewing supplies!
Linda :)
Your stand looked lovely and it was so nice to chat to you, Linda, and to buy some pretties to take home.

I am glad the event went well even without sewing supplies. That sure looks like a lot of work for four hours. It does indeed look grand finished. Will look for your "other" finishes in the weeks to come.
