Ted celebrated his 50th birthday yesterday
which meant that I turned 51. I'd like to say that I was spoilt rotten, sat around and did nothing all day and went out for a romantic dinner......the truth is nothing like it! Celebrating a birthday in the middle of harvest season means that anything could happen........yesterday it meant a trip to Warrnambool to get a part for the baler, a quick visit to see Lenora at Elm Grove Patchwork, home to mow the lawns at the shop, off to milk the cows, I typed up the cow list ready for preg testing (this morning), a scratch dinner and then a few hexagons. Russell spent the whole day raking and baling hay, until another breakdown forced him to come home at 11pm. At least I didn't have to cart small square hay bales.....which I have done once before on my birthday! Thank you to everyone who emailed, texted and facebooked Birthday messages....it's lovely to know lots of you were thinking of me yesterday.
Linda :)
Happy birthday to you and Ted. Life goes on.....but busy is good.
