Yes I too have the book and have never quite got around to starting my quilt. I pull it out every now and then.....flick through the pages and then pop it back safe and sound in the bookcase. After mentioning this recently to some friends, and hearing their similar stories, I decided that it was time to do something about it.
Out came the calendar and the texta.........and the Farmer's Wife Stitch Along Group was created. We will meet on the fourth Thursday of the month (11am - 4pm) commencing on January 28th. It will be an informal group.......not a class.....but it is hoped that members will be able to offer advice, assistance and support to other participants. You will need your own copy of the book.....no photocopies or sharing are permitted. There will be a small cost of $2 per person per day (includes tea / coffee). Bookings are essential as places are limited.
Linda :)
Sounds great Linda, but I cannot do Thursday mornings, maybe from 12.30pm on though, would that be okay, if I decide to jump in? :)
