Time flies when you are having fun......and it certainly was true last week. It seems incredible that AQC is all over for another year in what seemed like the blink of an eye.......although my feet and legs would tell me otherwise! We had a great time catching up with so many lovely people, both familiar faces and new faces that we hope we will see again. Wednesday we started with a blank canvas.......it's sometimes harder than you think.
But 5 1/2 hours later it was looking slightly different and a lot more colourful.
There were lots of new projects and goodies to tempt even the most strong willed stitcher.
and even a little bit of Christmas in July April.
On the Saturday evening, while everyone was attending the Gala Dinner.......oh the memories from last year......we had our own very important (albeit belated) celebration. This little one turned one last week so we had a 'One year One week' birthday BBQ with the family to celebrate the milestone.
There were presents and cake and Pa's Apple Cider and also fun times with Grammy.
We had to be quick to get the photo before the hat was ripped off and thrown on the floor!
So as the Sunday crowd disappeared and 4.30pm rolled around, we quickly packed up the display and said our goodbyes until next year. It certainly comes down a lot quicker than it goes up.......thank goodness!
Thank you to everyone who called by to say hello, have a chat and make a purchase from my stand. I will be back again next year.......bigger and better!
So after a wonderful sleep in my own bed, work started this morning to get the Shop back together prior to Thursday when I open up again. I am having a hard time fitting in all of the new samples / kits / projects.....there is a lot of squishing going on!
