The days are getting shorter and there is a nip in the air in the evenings.....maybe not quite enough to put the heater on but certainly enough to throw a nice lap quilt over the knees. I have 3 flannel lap quilts that we use all winter long, and I must admit that they are less flannely than they were when I made them 15 years ago. So when this new range of flannels arrived last week, I immediately thought that I would have to make myself a new quilt.
They are the new Folk Art Flannels II by Janet Rae Nesbitt from One Sister Designs.....aren't the colours just beautiful.....honestly the purples are to die for!
I'm not only super excited to have these new fabrics in the shop, and another one of Janet's called 'Home is Best' on it's way in July/August.........
but........
Janet is coming to Australia in November. She will be teaching her amazing Piece like Crazy (machine) technique at a one day (6 hour) workshop in Simpson on Saturday 9th November 2019. I will be working out more details with Gail Pan and Janet in the coming months, so stay tuned for further information. There will be limited places available, so if you would like to be placed on an Expressions of Interest list, please let me know.
Linda :)
