When I started writing this blog post, I suddenly realised that I had forgotten to blog about the beautiful new 'La Beau Papillon' fabric range by French General that arrived in early February.
I quickly posted about it on my Facebook page, but neglected all of my lovely loyal blog followers.
Apart from making up a few bundles, I haven't really had a chance to 'play' with it until last week. My first small project is this new Dresden Felted Pouch.
The paper pieced half dresdens are appliqued on to a pre-made felted pouch. It's a quick and easy project to make, the kit includes everything, and is just $15.
The next project started life as a different pouch.....a remake of my popular Primrose Pouch. But after realising that I had picked up the wrong sized hexagons, I had to design a new pouch to use them on! I really love this new 'Pretty Papillon' Pouch, especially the striped binding fabric that matches so well.
Sometimes it really does pay to have a look around the shop and see what is hidden away.....lol! This kit is $20, and you can check out the details on my website HERE.
