After a very busy and successful show in Adelaide, I had only one week (once I arrived back home) to make up some more kits and projects to take with me to the Canberra Craft Alive Show. It's not always easy to come up with new ideas, and as I was time poor and under the pump to restock, I decided to remake a few existing samples for the new Canberra crowd.
The first was another version of my Caddy Bucket, this time using the very popular Bee Grateful fabric range from Deb Strain.
These proved very popular and sold out during the show. I am waiting on some more of the leather strapping to arrive so that I can complete another few kits. I am also waiting on the strapping for the the other two versions as well ( here and here ). I guess that I just have to be patient, and I will update the stock levels when they are all set to go.
While I was working with the Bee fabric, I decided to make up a Bee Grateful Journal Cover.
A quick project to make as most of the fabric has been pre-cut for you. Kits are just $18 and are listed HERE.
I received a new shipment of the kiss clasp purse frames the day before leaving for Adelaide, so ran out of time to make anything before I left. But once home, a new Needle Purse was the first on the list.
These are great as they are nice and secure and nothing falls out of them!
The kits include all of the fabric, parlan, purse frame and pattern. You just need to supply your own embroidery thread to sew the purse frame on with. The kits are $15 and are available HERE.
Another new variation of the Dresden Flower Felted Pouch has this time been made using the 'Goose Creek Gardens' fabric collection by Poppie Cotton. Kits are $14 each.
The last of the small projects is my Pretty Hexagons Felted Pouch. I have made a couple of different variations of this project, but this is the first time I have used the light grey pouches.
A pretty selection of fabrics from a variety of Poppie Cotton collections, teamed up a silver heart/tree charm makes it a sweet little project to stitch up. Kits are $14 each.
And to finish up, a new version of the 'Songbirds in Spring' Quilt, this time using the 'Goose Creek Gardens' fabric collection.
This quilt had a little 'accident' when I was trying to take this photo just 2 days before we were due to leave for Canberra. The quilt fell on the ground.....on to the wet grass which was covered in chopped up autumn leaves left by the lawn mower a couple of days earlier. Ughh! It was straight into the washing machine and a quick trip to Timboon to the laundrette to use the dryer. There is still a stain on the back of the quilt but thankfully from the front it looks fine......phew! The quilt measures 150cm x 173cm, and kits are available for $120 each. All of the details are listed on my website HERE.
So there you have it......lots of projects made and kitted in just one week.
It's now time to concentrate on getting organised for our Friendship Frolic which starts this coming Wednesday. Back soon to give you all of the details.
Linda :)
