The newly released Happy Scrappy Backgrounds pattern by Gail Pan has been very popular since it's release 10 days ago.
I have started making up my own blocks and have had fun putting my own twist on it......as Gail has been encouraging us all to do.
The pattern includes instructions on how to use up your low volume (light) fabrics to make backgrounds for your projects. There are 5 patterns included, a quilt, a zipper pouch, 2 drawstring bags and a table runner. Of course there are lots of other things you can make too. Some templates for appliqué and designs for embroidery are also included (but not all that are featured on the quilt). You can use any other designs from any of Gail's other patterns or books. It’s up to you!
The pattern is available now for $19.80 (plus postage).
I have also made up a number of Low Volume Fat Eighth Starter Packs. The packs contain 16 fat eighths and are available HERE for $50 each.
And to round it out I have cut up some 'scrap packs' for the applique. These packs include 32 different fabrics that measure 6.5" x 7".
These are available HERE for $25 per pack.
I am hoping to be back more often on my blog, so thank you for stopping by.
Cheers
Linda :)
