Christmas.....yes Christmas

With just 117 days until Christmas there is still time to make those Christmas gifts for your friends and loved ones ;0 . I ordered my 2015 Christmas fabrics way way back in February (or was it January?), and while some of them arrived last month the remainder of the bolts were delivered on Friday.

Whenever a new range of fabrics arrives I get an overwhelming urge to rearrange the shop and set up a new display. Sometimes I just can't re-arrange at all......but yesterday I was able to shift bolts around and make this new display of Christmas fabrics.

This is 'Under the Mistletoe' by 3 Sisters for Moda.......beautiful reds, greens, creams and frost blues.

I love this range as quite a few of the prints are not Christmas overload and can easily be used in other projects. I am working on making some projects from the fabrics....which will be available in kits over the coming weeks.

The other new Christmas fabric is 'Very Merry' by Sandy Gervais for Moda. It is no secret that I love Sandy's Christmas fabrics.....I think that I have purchased them every year! This year as I couldn't decided between the 2 ranges that I had chosen, I selected just a mix of 12 from her range.

Plus the Panel of course.......I had to have the Panel!

The panels are $13.50 each and are available in Green and Red.

I was made for loving you........Suzani!

As I mentioned in my last post the lovely new fabric range by Australian designer Michelle Marvig called ‘Suzani’ has arrived in the Shop. I have finally unpacked it and it is now ready for some devoted patchworkers to take it home and love……..which wouldn't be hard to do.......check out the beautiful blues and reds......

Michelle has a project in the current Quilters Companion using her new range.

The fabric is $22 per metre, and I also have 2 of the laminates in stock ....they are $35 per metre.

'Suzani' has arrived

A lovely surprise awaited me when I arrived home last night – the beautiful new ‘Suzani’ fabric from Michelle Marvig. I haven’t had a chance to take a photo of it yet……too busy dreaming of what I can make out of it! Am also busy preparing for a catering job tonight so unfortunately this will be a very short post. Before I go I want to let everyone know that I will be closing the shop early at 2pm on Saturday afternoon (12^th Dec) and opening late (12noon) on the Sunday morning (13^th Dec).

Wiscasset has arrived

...well half of it has. I arrived home 10 minutes ago and found one large box from Moda in the back porch……...mmmmmm……..it is box 2 of 3 with 21 bolts of ‘Wiscasset’ by Minnick & Simpson. Not sure where box 1 and box 3 are but with it being late on a Friday afternoon they probably wont get here now until Monday. Now I just have to find some room for them in the shop!
